Part two of this summer’s Edinburgh street photography.

I’m not one for carrying a camera about every waking hour. In fact, the thought is particularly off-putting for me. Lugging a dead weight about all the time, not for me. Although it might be good exercise…

I much prefer to get time set aside for a good fling at a project. For Edinburgh this means setting aside a healthy slab of time, preferably a whole day, to hit the streets and see what people are up to.

I’ve managed quite a few days over summer this year, even with the poor weather. I’ve really enjoyed getting out so much, although I’ll need to make sure the film box gets replenished soon.

It’ll soon be time for the Edinburgh festival, when the streets will get seriously barmy. I’m contemplating colour film for the festival this year, for a change of tack. Watch this space.
