Ohh, Vienna!

A well-earned break to the Austrian capital, with a little photography time thrown in.

I’m loathe to just throw up any old holiday snaps onto the blog. But then it’s mine to administer after all, so here goes!

OK, maybe not typical holiday snaps. I’ve tried to make them a little more interesting and a little less “slideshow”.

Above, a very busy Philharmonika Strasse.

The tourist sites are all here – the Belvedere, the Hofburg, the Rathaus, Karlskirche and, of course, Shawn Broon’s Hoose.

Not forgetting a golden Beethoven, above.

Occasionally there’s a quiet corner.

It’s next to impossible to get a photo of a city sight without getting a tourist in the picture too. Not unusual to me though, since that’s pretty much the basis for my Edinburgh street photography. The tourists are probably the same nationality too.

Photos taken with the Fuji X100S.

And so another holiday comes to an end and it’s time to say goodbye to the crows.
