All new film and… all new camera! It’s all-change on the camera front, but more about that in a future post. For now this post is about a new film test: Kentmere 100. Kentmere is an offshoot of Ilford, my usual go-to film manufacturer, and it’s cheap price has it firmly aimed at the budget end of the market.

Like a swiss watch or a classic sports car, for the photographer with a certain outlook there’s simply no camera quite like a Leica. They’re exclusive, hand-crafted, fashionably obscure and often ridiculously expensive. They are also superb photographic tools, unlike any other camera. Since the 1930’s Leica have had a reputation for crafting the finest 35mm film cameras ever made, so getting a film version has always been on my photographic bucket list.
While I was shuffling about with a film camera my good wife Alison was also out and about with her digital camera. Here are some of the pictures she managed to get.
