After the tribulations of the last blog post I have bitten the bullet and instituted a solution – a photography logbook. Say goodbye to mix-up film confusion, I hope. The logbook has come into it’s own for these photos, they’re spread over a couple of film types and a variety of locations and dates.

So to keep things in full working order it’s a good idea to make sure they’re used. True for many things, including old film cameras.
The weather was noticeably worse this year. I’m not made of sugar though, so as long as the camera was looked after then I was out there. The only issue is that everyone else takes cover, so less people on the streets for me to photograph. I like a challenge.
If it wasn’t for real life I’d get a lot more photography done. It seemed like I’d never get out in Edinburgh over August but some careful calendar management did the trick. In fact I managed to get out a good deal more than I thought. There was even a fair amount of evening photography as well, which isn’t something I usually do.
Of course, I never have just one roll of Ilford Pan F in my bag! Great weather for bubbles.
